‘I’m at peace with it’: Jacob White reflects on his experience at BSU football’s pro day

MUNCIE, Ind. — There were multiple athletes who played collegiately for Ball State who were present Friday, on display for NFL scouts at BSU’s pro day.

There was wide receiver Antwan Davis and running back Caleb Huntley. There was long snapper Joseph Greenwood and cornerback Antonio Phillips. And there was linebacker Jacob White, the only one of the five present who did not see his career with coach Mike Neu’s Cardinals end in 2020.

White did not have the opportunity to participate in a Ball State pro day last year, due to the pandemic. He didn’t have the chance in 2020 to, as Neu would put it Friday, finish the final piece of his college career in that environment for those professional evaluators.
