MUNCIE, Ind. — The Indiana Football Coaches Association on Saturday announced various postseason recognitions.
As the result of a solid East Central Indiana football season, several area players were honored in various categories:
Nanko makes Top-50 All-State
Yorktown's do-it-all senior Kolton Nanko was named to the IFCA Top-50 All-State team, which honors the state's best players regardless of class and grade.
He is just the fourth Tiger ever to receive the honor. Nanko played receiver, defensive back, kicker and kick returner this fall and led the team with 74 catches for 1,052 yards (16th in Indiana), 629 total return yards, four interceptions, five fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and six passes defensed.
