Arden Hudson's school-record beam routine was the bright spot in Ball State's meet at Western Michigan on Sunday. Hudson, a junior from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, posted a 9.900 to tie for first place and tie the Ball State school record.
"It was a gorgeous routine. it was a lot of fun," head coach Joanna Saleem said.
"I knew my team needed a good score and I told myself it was just another routine and I went up there and had fun," Hudson said.
Hudson is the seventh gymnast in school history to score a 9.
