MUNCIE, Ind. — Yorktown continued its strong start to the season Tuesday night, at the expense of rival Delta.
The Class 4A No. 1 Tigers rolled to a sweep (25-12, 25-11, 25-11) of visiting Delta to improve to 5-0. Kenzie Knuckles paced Yorktown with 14 kills, 16 digs and 1.5 blocks, while Tegan Seyring and Courtney Watkins each added 11 kills. Kylie Murr posted 15 digs, and Kate Vinson finished with 38 assists.
Ainzli Grismore led Delta with six kills, while Maggie Manor contributed 11 digs. Bella Dearinger dished out 15 assists for the Eagles, who were playing without West Virginia commit Molly Hunt.
