MUNCIE, Ind. — For the second consecutive year, Yorktown and Delta were separated by just two strokes in the Delaware County golf meet. But the result was different this time around.
Yorktown shot a 345 to win the county championship on Saturday at the Muncie Elks Club, while Delta finished second with a 347. Wapahani was third at 392, Daleville fourth at 401 and Wes-Del fifth with a 414.
Delta's Tyler Jobe took home medalist honors with a final score of 80. Teammate Blake Shenayda shot an 87.
Yorktown, meanwhile, had three of the top five finishers.
