MUNCIE, Ind. — With a bye in this week's Delaware County Baseball Tournament, Wapahani made sure it stayed sharp Monday against Winchester.
The Raiders scored eight times in the first and second innings on their way to a 16-0 victory over the Randolph County champions. Garett Stanley went 3-for-3 with four RBIs, while Tysen Lipscomb went 3-for-3. Chandler Wise and Luke Galbraith also had multi-hit efforts for Wapahani (14-5)
Riley Porter and Isaiah Brosher combined on the shutout.
The county tournament is this week at Yorktown. Tuesday's scheduled matchups are Wes-Del against Yorktown and Delta against Daleville, with the semifinals and championship on Saturday.
