MUNCIE, Ind. – Wapahani improved to 16-2 on the season with a pair of impressive victories the last couple days.
The Raiders swept Alexandria on Thursday and earned a four-set victory over Monroe Central on Wednesday. They have now won seven straight matches going into the Muncie Central Invite on Saturday.
Wapahani defeated Alexandria 25-14, 25-23, 25-20. Estella Davis hammered home 17 kills on offense. Mallory Summers added 16 kills to go with 24 digs.
On Wednesday, it beat Monroe Central 23-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-11. Summers led the Raiders with 14 kills and 16 digs, while Havyn Gates picked up 26 digs and Alison Stewart dished out 37 assists.
