MUNCIE, Ind. — Delta and Wapahani kicked off the Delaware County boys basketball tournament Tuesday at Delta with wins to advance to Friday's semifinals.
Josh Bryan racked up 22 points to lead Delta to a 44-33 victory over Daleville. The Eagles will meet Wes-Del in the semifinals, a rematch of last year's championship.
Peyton West poured in 27 points to lead Wapahani to a 55-44 victory over Yorktown. Tre Spence added 12 points for the Raiders, while Drew Luce chipped in nine. Wapahani faces Cowan in the semifinals. The Tigers trailed by 13 at halftime and rallied to within five with three minutes left.
