MUNCIE, Ind. — After getting delayed for two days, two local squads took home titles at the 81st Muncie Relays.
Central won the seven-team Class A division with 99 points, edging Huntington North (96) and Kokomo (91). The Bearcats won the 4,000 distance medley and 800 sprint medley. Their best individual finishes were from Samuel Baule (first in the discus) and Brandon Crisp (third in the 100)
Wapahani won the seven-team Class B division with 122 points, finishing ahead of Winchester (111) and Monroe Central (91). The Raiders picked up wins in the 3,200 (Andrew Shrock, Griffen Miller, Brandon Ellis and Blake Ellis), 4,000 distance medley (Shrock, Drayden Gates, Brandon Ellis and Blake Ellis) and long jump (Sofani Buck).
