How Shelby Miller played in the state championship just 3 weeks after tearing her ACL

INDIANAPOLIS. — She ran out with the team, brace on that fateful right knee for the Class 2A state championship game on Saturday. It was hard to tell she had just torn her ACL and meniscus just three weeks ago. Especially when she started draining jumpers during warmups on the Bankers Life Fieldhouse court.

“Her shot looks good,” one fan remarked.

By the time the game was about to start, Winchester’s Shelby Miller was sweating.
