CARBONDALE, Ill. – Freshman Jared Holder had a day to remember at the MAC Swimming and Diving Championships Friday as the true freshman set the school record in the 100 Back on three separate occasions to lead the Ball State men's swimming and diving team.
Holder's first record swim occurred in the prelims when he recorded a time of 48.75. That performance qualified him for the A Final later on. In that final, Holder clocked in at 48.58 to finish third in the event and break his own record. Two times was not enough though as Holder swam the first leg of the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 48.
