MUNCIE — This decision has been weighing on Steve Shondell's mind for a while now.
The long-time volleyball coach loves the sport, and his return last season to Burris — the program he brought to state and national prominence during his 35 years at the helm — is something he wouldn't trade for the world.
Still, being a volleyball coach is a stressful job. And as Shondell continues to try to adapt to his life with spasmodic torticollis, a rare neck disorder that he was diagnosed with two years ago, he decided that reducing that stress would be in his best interest.
