DENVER - Flying across the country and competing in a meet with the No. 5 team in the nation, the Ball State gymnastics team answered the bell and turned in its best performance of the year. The Cardinals totaled a 194.875 score to place second in the three-team meet Sunday afternoon.

"Our team really stuck together and finished strong," head coach said. "We have some things to clean up, but we are in good spirits and had a great trip.
