MUNCIE, Ind. – The 14th ranked Ball State men's volleyball team started the 2018 season with a big 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-10) victory over Lees-McRae Friday evening.
The Cardinals were led by freshman outside attacker Ben Chinnici. The newcomer tallied a team high 16 kills for a .609 hitting percentage in his college debut. Chinnici also added seven digs, one assist and one block assist. Senior Matt Walsh racked up 14 kills and six block assists. Junior transfer David Siebum had eight kills while Mitch Weiler added five.
