MUNCIE, Ind. -- Former Ball State men's basketball players Franko House and Ryan Weber are continuing their playing careers overseas.
House, who spent part of the offseason on the roster of the NFL's Chicago Bears, is returning to the hardwood. He signed this week with Landstede Basketbal in the Dutch Basketball League, the first division in Holland. Weber signed over the summer with AS Cherbourg Basket in France.
AS Cherbourg is already in the midst of its preseason, with Weber scoring 19 points in a recent exhibition game. House begins his season in October for a Landstede team that finished runner-up in its league last year.
