MUNCIE, Ind. — Less than a month before the MLB Draft, Zack Thompson is in line to fulfill his dream of signing a pro contract. And secure a big payday.

MLB Draft experts have released updated mock drafts this week, projecting where the top amateur players will be selected June 3-5. And for the former Wapahani star, the outlook is quite good. Thompson, currently a junior left-handed pitcher at Kentucky, is projected to be among the top 15 players selected, according to ESPN, MLB.com and CBS Sports.

After being drafted in the 11th round out of high school, Thompson opted instead to join the Wildcats.
