MUNCIE, Ind. — Safe to say Logan Thomas was in the right place at the right time last Friday.
Thomas, a former star for the Monroe Central basketball team, was chosen to attempt a halfcourt shot during the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Milwaukee Bucks game at Staples Center. He drained it to win $25,000 and busted out Lance Stephenson's signature air guitar routine to celebrate.
What will he use that money for? "Straight toward student loans," said Thomas, who graduated from Ball State and Trine with about $175,000 worth.
