DALEVILLE — There were a lot of credentials that stood out to Daleville athletic director Ben Wissel about new varsity volleyball coach Valorie Flick.
She grew up playing in Delaware County at Cowan High School from 2011-2014. She had experience coaching the sport at the Academy Volleyball Club and at Munciana Indy. And she played college volleyball at the University of Saint Francis — where she graduated in 2019 — giving her access to a deeper pool of resources that other candidates might not have had.
There were more reasons why Flick was selected as the next head volleyball coach during the Daleville Community Schools board of trustees meeting on Jan.
