GASTON, Ind. — For as long as Ryan Cole can remember, he's wanted to be a head football coach.
Since his playing career ended, Cole said he has been applying for head coaching jobs. Now, he's finally getting his chance.
Cole, who was approved as the varsity football coach at Wes-Del High School on May 13, was introduced to the community on Monday.
"For me, (being a head coach) is something that I’ve been ingrained with; it’s been part of who I am," Cole said. "I started applying for head coaching jobs when I was 22, but my life and my career path kind of went in a different direction.
