DALEVILLE, Ind. — When Austin Earley came to Daleville three years ago, he applied to be the head coach for the girls basketball team.
Earley didn't get the job then, instead spending the next few years assisting Tyler Stotler and the boys basketball team along with Terry Turner and the baseball team. But recently, Earley was named the girls varsity head coach after former girls basketball coach Ashley Fouch took the head coaching position at Class 4A Whiteland in May.
"A head coaching job is something I’ve dreamed about, something I’ve set my goals on and I try to just put myself in a place to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible," Earley said.
