Former Ball State football player Robert Eddins was found dead in Detroit, Mich. Tuesday night according to reports from WXYZ 7 Action News. Officials said the bodies of two men were found in the basement of a home on the city's west side. Both men had been shot multiple times.
Family members identified one of the men as Eddins, a 28-year-old former Ball State football defensive end. Born in Detroit, Eddins played for the Cardinals from 2006-2010. He was named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team in 2009 and 2010. In 2011, Eddins went on to play one game in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills.
