He’s seen the singe-elimination tournament grow from the 32-team field it started with in 2014, the field at 64 in 2019 as it will be in 2020. He’s seen the winner-take-all prize rise from $500,000 to $2 million.

He’s followed it through a college career that started at Northern Kentucky (2014-15) and finished at Ball State (2015-19).
