MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State football senior safety Bryce Cosby has been named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America Division I Football Second Team.
Cosby is one of only three players from the Mid-American Conference to be recognized on the CoSIDA Academic All-America first or second team. Mike Caliendo of Western Michigan and Mike Van Hoeven of Eastern Michigan are the other two.
In addition, Cosby becomes the 22nd CoSIDA Academic All-America selection in program history among 13 student-athletes. The last Ball State football player to earn Academic All-America honors was Zane Fakes on the first team in 2013.
