MUNCIE, Ind. — Trey Moses was thankful for a few days off this week. This past Tuesday was the only Tuesday that Ball State doesn’t have a scheduled game on during the Mid-American Conference slate. And that was a good thing for Moses, who was battling the stomach flu and spent the day throwing up.
On Saturday, Moses clearly wasn’t at his best, but he summoned up enough energy to convert the game-winning tip-in on a missed shot by Tayler Persons with about 15 seconds left to give Ball State a 57-56 victory – the latest installment of thrilling games at Worthen Arena that almost came down to a non-travel call.
