BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Five Ball State women's basketball players scored in double figures as the Cardinals defeated Bowling Green, 84-73 at the Stroh Center Saturday afternoon in Mid-American Conference action.
With the win, Ball State improves to 13-1 overall and 2-1 in the MAC while Bowling Green falls to 8-6 on the year and 0-3 in conference play.
Junior guard Carmen Grande led the Cardinals with a 16-point performance while teammates senior forward Moriah Monaco and junior guard Jasmin Samz each had 14 points apiece. Senior forward Destiny Washington and freshman guard Maliah Howard-Bass rounded out the double digit scoring with 10 points each.
