MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State field hockey team returns home to Briners Sports Complex for the first time since Sept. 6, when the Cardinals host Central Michigan in Mid-American Conference action Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.
Ball State enters Saturday's contest with a 2-7 overall record and a 0-1 conference ledger. The Cardinals have played five-straight games on the road, including three Big Ten schools' along with two nationally ranked opponents. Ball State lost a heartbreaker last Friday in its MAC opener after falling in overtime by a score of 1-0 at Miami.
The Chippewas enter the contest with a 2-7 non-conference record and are 0-1 in MAC action.
