MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State field hockey team (3-7, 1-1 MAC) shutout Central Michigan by a score of 2-0 (2-8, 0-2 MAC) in Mid-American Conference action Saturday afternoon at the Briner Sports Complex. With the win, the Cardinals remain undefeated at home this season.
"Thanks to everybody who came out today for our home game it was an awesome matchup against Central Michigan," Ball State head field hockey coach Stephanie Bernthal said. "We got a little more of an offensive output which has been a goal of ours throughout the season and of course a shutout is always great.
