Field Hockey Loses Home Opener To Big Ten foe Indiana, 2-0

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State field hockey team (0-2) fell to Big Ten foe Indiana (1-1) by a score of 2-0 Sunday afternoon at the Briner Sports Complex. Today's contest marked the first time since 2014 the Hoosiers had played in Muncie.

"We are really pleased with how we bounced back from Friday obviously that was a tough result for us," Ball State head field hockey coach said. "Our big focus was getting consistency moving forward in the areas we've been focusing on and executing them. We made some major gains in our tactical kind of game and our chemistry as a team.
