MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State field hockey team (3-7, 1-1 MAC) looks to remain undefeated at home when it hosts Kent State (5-5, 1-0 MAC) Friday at the Briner Sports Complex. The game, which will air live on ESPN3, will begin at 3 p.m. ET.
The Cardinals are coming off of a 2-0 win against Central Michigan last Saturday at home. It was Ball State's second shutout of the season and first this year for junior goalkeeper Grace Chavez. Freshman Angel Nkosi and teammate junior Abby Ferenczy each scored a goal against the Chippewas.
