MUNCIE, Ind.– The Ball State field hockey team had a stellar start to the season with a 5-0 victory over Saint Louis Friday afternoon.
The first strike was from Carley Shannon at 17:21 off a penalty corner. Shannon was assisted by Michelle Shampton. Just one minute later, Sierra Jefferson got in on the action scoring her first career goal off a deflection on a penalty corner and a Hillary Scott assist. Jefferson was also part of the Cardinals third goal of the first half with an assist to Abbey Main at 21:30.
