MUNCIE, Ind. — On Saturday, the seasons for the eight remaining teams in the Indiana High School Athletic Association state volleyball tournament will come to an end.
The three teams from East Central Indiana — Cowan, New Castle and Wapahani — will have the shortest trips to Ball State's Worthen Arena.
The three local favorites join Bellmont as the four state finalists who have previously won volleyball state championships. The other four — Brownstown Central, Hamilton Southeastern, Heritage Christian and Trinity Lutheran — are seeking their school's first volleyball state title.
