MUNCIE, Ind. — Kneeling alone near midfield on Muncie Central's sideline, Michael Lowe rotated his right shoulder a few more times, strapped his chinstrap and walked over to join his teammates.
Lowe was in visible pain. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, a hit left him laying on Muncie Central's field. A few plays after he was sidelined, Marion scored its seventh touchdown of the game to go up 49-0 on the Bearcats.
Midway through the fourth quarter, the senior wide receiver/safety went back in because he wasn't about to let the Giants score again. Returning to the game and playing on both sides of the ball, you could see Lowe's right shoulder dip throughout the final drives of Muncie Central's 49-6 homecoming loss against Marion.
