MUNCIE, Ind. — Both Jarron Coleman and Reggie Jones possessed the potential to be key parts of the Ball State men’s basketball team this season, but neither will be available for coach James Whitford when games start to be played.
Coleman, a 6-5 and 205-pound redshirt sophomore guard, underwent foot surgery earlier this month after breaking a bone in his foot during practice and is expected to return later this season. Jones, a 6-7 and 210-pound redshirt senior guard/forward, underwent knee surgery this week to address what Whitford described as a preexisting injury that had “never healed properly” and will “be out for a while.
