DETROIT — Back in January, when Drew Plitt was talking about why he decided to return to BSU for a sixth season, one of the topics he brought up was his aspiration to play professionally.
On top of the ability to enjoy another season at Ball State, Plitt wanted another opportunity to show scouts what he’s capable of. He wanted another opportunity to prove he can do all of that consistently. And while the start of the 2021 season is still some weeks away, while there is still some time before those chances in games come, earlier this month he was able to take a significant step forward in his professional development.
