MUNCIE, Ind. — Six games into the season, Delta was sitting with a 2-4 record.
A frustrating start for any squad was especially disheartening for the Eagles girls basketball team, since the players and coaches knew that their wins and losses could've easily been flipped. Those four losses were by a combined seven points, the largest coming in a three-point overtime defeat against Alexandria.
But the single-possession defeats didn't discourage Delta. Instead of hanging their heads, the Eagles decided to work harder in the gym to find their way back into the win column.
