MUNCIE, Ind. – The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) will be inducting the first ever Hall of Fame class in 2017. The MIVA announced the list of 11 members of the inaugural class Monday afternoon (April 10).
The list is made up of the most influential student-athletes, coaches and administrators in the league's history. Two Cardinals made that impressive list: Dr. Don Shondell and Jerre McManama.
Dr. Don Shondell, a 1952 Ball State alumnus, established a legacy almost unmatched by any other individual in college volleyball history. His career has been long and varied as a coach, professor and author.
