YORKTOWN, Ind. — Following Delta's 49-34 victory over Yorktown Friday night, Yorktown coach Matt Moulton couldn't help but shrug his shoulders.
On the court, he couldn't fault his team's effort. After trailing by as many 14 points earlier in the game, the Tigers found themselves down just six points heading into the fourth. But then, Delta senior Brady Hunt and junior Neil Marshall — who combined for 42 points on the night — hit a trio of 3-pointers in the final frame. The Eagles slowed down the pace of the game and outscored the Tigers 15-6 in the fourth quarter to lead to the eventual 15-point win.
