DALEVILLE – All the doors outside of Daleville's gym are locked. There’s tape on the windows, leaving passersby only to guess what’s happening on the other side.
Inside the gym, the Broncos’ girls basketball team is wrapping up one of the last practices before their first-ever regional semifinal game. It's Thursday, and it's not like the fact that the team is practicing is a secret. Days before, the team won the first sectional title in program history.
It was a surreal moment at Tri-Central, where Daleville will return for the regional with a chance to continue its already historic run.
