A pair of East Central Indiana baseball players made their respective All-State teams, announced by the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association, while several others received honorable mention honors.
In Class 2A, Wapahani's Gavin Lash was named to the All-State team at shortstop. This season, Lash was dominant as he helped lead Wapahani to a Class 2A semistate appearance. Lash batted .471 with 41 hits, 43 RBIs and four home runs. On the mound, he went 9-3 with a 2.61 ERA, striking out 63 batters while allowing 51 hits, 25 walks and 24 earned runs in 64.
