MUNCIE, Ind.-- Denasiha Christian, a senior member of the Ball State gymnastics team has been honored by the Mid-American Conference for Specialist of the Week.
"It's exciting to have Ball State gymnasts recognized by the MAC for Gymnast and Specialist of the week, head coach Joanna Saleem said. "Deansiha worked really hard last week on all her events, and to see her successful on senior day when emotions run high is really encouraging."
The MAC honor of Specialist of the Week is awarded to gymnasts who compete in three or less events successfully during compeition.
On senior day, Christian took first place on vault with a score of 9.
