MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State University baseball coach Rich Maloney announced today that Chris Fetter has joined the staff as the team’s pitching coach. Fetter spent the previous two years as a Major League Baseball scout for the Los Angeles Angels.
“With his outstanding playing and scouting background, Chris is going to be a great addition to our staff,” Maloney said. “He has the personality to be an excellent recruiter, and it will be a real treat for our pitchers to be under his tutelage.”
Fetter, hailing from nearby Carmel, Indiana played his collegiate baseball under Maloney at Michigan where he helped the Wolverines win three Big Ten championships and advance to four NCAA regionals.
