Challenging Schedule Awaits Ball State Baseball This Spring

MUNCIE, Ind. – It's just three months until the first pitch of the 2017 season for the Ball State baseball team. Head coach Rich Maloney announced the team's schedule today, featuring trips to Florida, South Carolina and Oregon, a game at Victory Field in Indianapolis and a contest against the defending national champion.

Ball State, which won the Mid-American Conference West Division title for the second time in the last three seasons in 2016, is slated to take on seven teams which played in the NCAA Baseball Championship last spring – Alabama State, Boston College, Coastal Carolina, Louisville, Ohio State, Western Carolina and Western Michigan.
