He won last year’s sectional, regional and a countless number of junior tournaments. He even won the PGA Northern Open last September at Delaware Country Club – just the ninth amateur to do so since 1981 – after firing a 67.

The Central senior hasn’t thought about that missed putt at Prairieview Golf Club in Carmel last June that would’ve put him in a three-way playoff for the state title but instead put him in a tie for third at even par.
