FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Ball State University men's volleyball team played three solid sets of volleyball and left little doubt about the outcome as it cruised to a 3-1 defeat of Sacred Heart on Saturday night.
The win marked the fourth straight for the Cardinals and improved their record to 6-4 for the year. Sacred Heart dropped to 1-5 on the season with the loss.
Ball State tallied 47 kills on the night to SHU's 42 and outhit the Pioneers by a margin of .282 to .149. Service aces were even at five apiece while BSU had 10 more assists than Sacred Heart at a 46-36 mark.
