LEXINGTON, Ky. - A series split with Arizona and a series win over Kentucky. The Ball State baseball team collected another big win on Sunday, outlasting Kentucky 4-3 to take two of three over the weekend.
The Cards (6-4) struck with a four-run 6th inning and dominant pitching by winner and did the rest. Jaksich pitched 5.0 innings of one-run ball before Baker took over in the 6th.
"We continued to show grit in winning the series against a really strong SEC opponent in Kentucky," head coach said. "A lot of players contributed behind standout pitching from Luke and Johnny Baker.
