MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State baseball team returned to Ball Diamond at First Merchants Ballpark Complex for the first time in three weeks and celebrated by taking two games from Toledo Saturday afternoon.
The Cardinals won by scores of 5-3 and 10-5. With the two victories, Ball State improves to 24-22 overall and 11-9 in Mid-American Conference action.
Junior pitcher made an impact in game one on the mound and at the plate. The righty went five innings and held Toledo (14-32, 7-10) to just one run on two hits. He picked up his first win since March 4 against Chicago State.
