UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – On a three-match losing streak, the Ball State University men's volleyball team entered Friday's road contest at No. 7 Penn State hungry to turn things around. The Cardinals did just that as they swept the Nittany Lions, 3-0, in a dominant performance to secure the upset.

Ball State improved to 4-3 for the year as it saw its 3-0 slump disappear. The Nittany Lions likewise fell to 4-3.
