MUNCIE - Ball State head coach Joanna Saleem has talked about her team's need to put together four quality events. The Cardinals did just that, posting one of the best overall performances in school history Sunday in the team's 2019 home finale. Ball State scored a season-best 195.625 and had the best individual scores in vault and beam.
Stefanie Schweikert continued to stand out on the vault, winning the event with a 9.850. Jordyn Penny and Marissa Nychyk (9.800) followed for BSU to go 1-2-3 in the day's first event.
