MUCNIE, Ind. – In the lone tune up before the start of the regular season, the Ball State University soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over Eastern Illinois in an exhibition match at Briner Sports Complex on Friday evening.
The match featured three 30-minute periods. The Panthers recorded seven shots to Ball State's six, but Lauren Roll scored the lone goal of the match in the third period to lift BSU to the win.
"I felt that we learned a lot from the game in regard to what we need to address and what we need to do.
