ANN ARBOR, Mich.– The Ball State field hockey team rounded out its eight game road trip at No. 6 Michigan Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals fell to the Big Ten powerhouse, 5-0.
Carley Shannon tallied one shot and one shot on goal in the contest. Hillary Scott also added one shot, one shot on goal and a defensive save.
In the cage, Grace Chavez recorded five saves in 46 minutes of action. Alison McMullen also saw action in goal and added two saves.
The Wolverines set the tempo early, scoring in the fifth minute of action.
